He is an Professor. He has a B.Sc. degree from the department of Mathematics of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an M.Sc. degree in the “Mathematics of Non-Linear Models” as well as a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mathematics, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK. He has worked in a post doc position in National Technical University of Athens and also in a teaching position in the Department of Mathematics in the University of Crete. His main research interests are in the area of mathematical modelling and differential equation as for example reaction diffusion equations, moving boundary problems etc.
