He is an Associate Professor. He has a degree and a PhD in Dynamics from the Department of Physics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). He worked as a researcher and teching staff in various research and educational institutes including, but not limited to, Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Central Macedonia (now International University), AUTh, University of Patras, University of Massachusetts (UMASS) and University of Qatar. His research interests are mainly focused on the following fields: Nonlinear Dynamical Systems, Hamiltonian Mechanics, Lattice Dynamics, Wave equations, Localized Oscillations and Waves and Mathematical Modelling of Physical Systems.
