He is an Assistant Professor. He received his B.Sc. from the Department of Mathematics of the University of the Aegean, his M.Sc. in Statistics from the Department of Statistics of the Athens University of Economics and Business and his Ph. D. from the Department of Statistics and Actuarial-Financial Mathematics of the University of the Aegean. He worked as teaching staff in the Departments of Statistics, and Accounting and Finance of the Athens University of Economics and Business. His research interests are mainly focused on the following fields: Applications of Probability Theory, Stochastic Models in Operations Research, Markov Decision Models, Stochastic Dynamic Programming, Population Models in Epidemiology and in Ecology, Machine Maintenance and Replacement Models, Models for the optimal routing of vehicles that deliver products to customers.
