He is a Professor and at present he serves as the Head of the department of Mathematics. Ηe has a degree and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Patras, Greece. He has worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the Chemical Engineering at University of Delaware. He has been a frequent visiting professor at the University of Delaware, USA, the University of Sydney, Australia, and at University of Cyprus. His research interests are in Theoretical and Computational Fluid Mechanics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations, and Asymptotic Analysis.
